AYE AYE- PANGALANE TOUR

Palmarium Reserve – Aye-Aye Tour to Pangalane is one of the most booked tours that we have. Start from Antananarivo to Andasibe Perinet village through the national road N°2 to the center east. Visit the fascinating park owned by the peyrieras family, to see cockerel’s Sifaka, Chameleons, and many other reptiles. You will be guided into Mantadia National Park to the corridor of primary forest covering the tumble unique wildlife, orchids, and other rare plants, many species of amphibians. Drive you to Vakona Forest Lodge where you can meet the lemurs on their own private island. Doing canoe excursions to see Ring Tails (Lemur Catta), and have contact with other lemur species as well.  We will be back on the mine road for 4hrs drive to Manambato village where we will arrange a speed boat transfer through the two lakes for 1hr to Ankan’Ofy Hotel. This private reserve is housed on a peninsula of 86 acres. The reserve contains more than 80 species of palm trees, some of which are rare and endemic. In this area you will have the opportunity to observe closely the Aye-Aye lemur the rarest nocturnal and other species including the black Macaco, the Coquerel’s Sifaka Lemur, and the Crowned Lemur, enjoying the beautiful landscape of the Pangalane’s channel with white sand private beach.

Day 1: ARRIVAL MEET - ANDASIBE VILLAGE

We will meet you from the airport then start the tour directly to Andasibe village. Our drive will take us about 4hrs through the national road N° 2 by sporting the green landscapes and small village on route. In between, we will have break to visit the reptile’s park, where you will see many different species of chameleons, geckos, snakes, crocodiles, frogs, including the largest butterfly of Madagascar as well as 2 different species of lemurs. This visit will take us about 2 hours and once we have done it, we will continue to Andasibe village. Check-in at the Hotel then gets ready for a night walk to see the night-active lemurs, frogs, and the smallest lemurs called "Mouse". Night and Dinner at mid-range Hotel

Day 2: ANALAMAZAOTRA - MANAMBATO -PALMARIUM

This morning, after your good breakfast, we will find you from your hotel to visit the rain forest of Analamazaotra National Park that rich in endemic animals including the biggest lemurs called Indri-Indri as well as the endemic species like amphibians, birds, Plants. Back on the main road after the visit to reach Manambato village where we will take a speed boat to cross two lakes by speed boat for 1hr to reach Hotel at Ankan'Nofy Reserve, known as 'Dream Nest". Here you will have your private beach with lemurs around. Night at Palmarium -Ankan'Nofy Hotel.

Day 3: ANKANIN'OFY RESERVE - AYE AYE ISLAND

Morning breakfast at the restaurant, then we will visit the reserve park around the hotel by sporting all lemurs’ species which will be jumping on your hands and shoulders. Watch and learn the different species of plants and birds, visit the fish-men village. In the evening, night excursion by motorboat to the aye-Aye island as only here is the best place to spot this rarest lemur in Madagascar. Night at the same Hotel.

Day 4: PALMARIUM HOTEL- VAKONA - TANANARIVO

We will take the motorboat again and head back to Manambato village then continue driving back on the same road to Vakona reserve to have contact with lemurs including King Juliana (Ringtails) and the Bamboo which is the smallest day-active lemur. Continuous smoothly with our car after lunch to reach the capital for 4 hrs drive. Night and dinner at the Hotel.

Day5: ANTANANARIVO - AIRPORT TRANSFERT - HOME

Today, we would be very glad to guide you through the capital center to learn the city story and visit the woodcraft market for your last souvenir before drop you off at the international Ivato Airport. End of our services!
