WESTERN ROAD TOUR

Day1: MORONDAVA -BELO SUR MER

8:00 Am-Pick up from your hotel in the morning after your breakfast. And drive to the south, across the savanna landscape, the baobab forest, the rivers, the village’s typical Sakalave tribes with the beach view. We will arrive at Belo after 4hrs drive. Lunch at the restaurant to test the fresh fish, and the local food. -Visit the local village and the Botry Boat fabrication (handmade). The rest of the day at your leisure! Night and dinner at the hotel.

Day2: BELO - MANJA -MOROMBE VILLAGE

Earlier breakfast in the morning, leaving Belo village for the next destination Morombe village. Looking the savanna forest with Baobabs trees that give an impression to stop for taking a picture and the group of the zebus feeding the grass. Arrive on the Bevoay river, across by ferry boat, continue on the road but the landscape is completely changing, large rice-growing plain, the villages until Morombe. Dinner and night at the hotel.

Day 3: MOROMBE -ANDAVADOKA -SALARY

In the morning after breakfast on the road for Salary, across the huge baobab on the area, drive on the strong sandy road for 35 km and us through into the Mikea forest where there are the local people living, half-wild. This forest is still primary with sea view. We will stay on the beach on the Mozambique Channel. Dinner and night at the hotel.

Day 4: SALARY BAY - MANGILY

We will leave Salary after lunch as you can have half a day to explore the sea-like (snorkeling, fishing, diving, even just swimming). This place is very calm, with fewer tourists and comfortable in front of the beach where you can breathe a very fresh air. 2:00 Pm- Leave Salary Bay Hotel to Mangily village where we will spend the night. Dinner and night at the hotel.

Day5: MANGILY DAY OFF

Today, we can propose you to visit the village of the Tortoise village, Reniala Reserve, including the visit to the fisherman village. -Here also possible to see the whale watching and doing sea activity. Here the most popular seaside resort thanks to its large coral reef lagoon. Night at the Hotel

Day6: MANGILY VILLAGE - TOLIARA CITY -TANA

1hr drive on a good road to get Toliara city to join your national flight back to Tana. -Transfer you to the hotel or visit the capital of Antananarivo if you have time. Night at the Hotel.

Day7: ANTANANARIVO -HOME

-It depends on your flight time that we will drop you off two hours earlier for your check-in. End of our services!

HIKE TO ANDRINGITRA PARK

DAY 1: ANTANANARIVO -ANTSIRABE

-Pick-up from the airport/Hotel Take a private 4wd transportation following the national road N°7 for 4hours. On route, you will spot the variety of landscapes of the Highland, We will have a break at Ambatolampy village where we can visit the local factory work with (Aluminum), produce kitchen materials, and others. -Continuous to Antsirabe Town after lunch and visit the cathedral old church, ride Pouss-Pouss, visit local craft. Night at midrange Hotel/per requirement.

DAY 2 : ANTSIRABE - AMBALAVAO VILLAGE.

8:00 Am -Leave Antsirabe town then drive out on the mine road RN7 for 6hrs to Ambalavao village. We will arive at Ambalavao village after passing Fianarantsoa city. Here we will have the chance to visit the popular silk and Antaimoro paper factories. -The rest of the day at your liesure ! Overnight at midrange Hotel/per requirement

DAY 3 : AMBALAVAO -NAMOLY VALLEY .

This morning, after your morning breakfast. The guide will prepar the camping materiels and buy all fresh food from the local market . We will then take our 4wd private car for 4 hours drive on off-road and hills to reach Namoly village. Here, you will going to experience the wonderful hike & camping and know how means the salient night, and have fun. Overnight on Camp with all staff.

DAY 4: NAMOLY VALLEY - BAS CAMP

Today, after our morning breakfast, we will keep our hike with local guide and the porter to explore the Andringitra area on foot. We will walk "Mora-Mora"-"Slowly" in the park by enjoying on amazing landscapes, view to another till we get to the base camp. This walk will take us about 5-6hours a day on valey and by climbing the montagne. -Fee- evening with fire camp to have dinner with the stars and moon . The guide will tell you the area story. Night and the dinner on Camp with all staff .

DAY5: BAS CAMP - PEAK BOBY- NAMOLY VILLAGE

After our breakfast in the base camp we will head to the climb the Peak Boby, this will be the most enjoyable and hardest in our trekking. -Once we arrive at the top of the peak we will enjoy the amazing view and have lunch before we walk down slowly back to Namoly Village for a night. Night in basic Hotel /Homestay with locals

DAY 6: NAMOLY VILLAGE - AMBALAVAO - FIANARANTSOA CITY.

Today, we will leave the Andringitra Park to get back on the same road down back to Ambalavao for lunch and head out to Fianarantsoa city (win city) to spend the night. Overnight at midrange Hotel /per requirement.

DAY7: FIANARANTSOA CITY - VISIT RANOMAFANA PARK.

We will leave Fianarantsoa city after your morning breakfast then drive on to Ranomafana national park. Ranomafana means 'hot water' in the Malagasy language. The area is a home for small mammals, birds, reptiles, and insects, as well as palms, bamboo, orchids, and carnivorous plants. It's home to 13 species of lemurs, including the famous Golden bamboo lemur, as well as the endemic birds, which was first reported in the area in 1985 and is one of the reasons why the government decided to protect this forest. -6:00 Pm -Night walk organize by the local guide to see the smallest nocturnal lemur called "Mouse" also rarest endemic Reptiles, chameleon on this area. Night and Dinner at midrange Hotel/per requirement.

DAY8: RANOMAFANA PARK - AMBOSITRA VILLAGE

Today, we will leave this Rainforest area to drive slowly back on the mine road to Ambositra village-of the third-largest ethnic group in Madagascar. Here will spend half-day to take a visit the nearby, walk through the rice field, visit the open wood craft market and explore the process of silk production, which is an important part of Malagasy culture. The use of silk was once reserved exclusively for royalty, but nowday everyone is free to wear it and the more often used is for the dead. When a Malagasy is buried, their body is wrapped in a large, silk sheet known as a 'lambamena', and, after a few years, the family traditionally return to the tomb to exchange the sheet for a new one. This custom is known as famadihana, and each village specializes in one step of the production. Night at midrange hotel /per requirement

DAY 9: AMBOSITRA VILLAGE - ANTANANARIVO

7:30 Am - Leave the Betsileo village to drive back on RN7 for 6hrs on a good road. We will have a chance to spot the ricefield landscapes and the local village of Merina tribe and you can have a break for a nice picture. Lunch on route at local restaurant . We will arrive at Tana in the late afternoon. End of my Services!
