All of our Tours proposals require good preparation and each of them has minimum notice days in advance to book. For individual tour packages, we strongly recommend booking with a few weeks’ notice. For big Group Tours more than 30 People, we recommend that Clients book with a few months’ notice. Once Clients have confirmed and submitted his/her booking with payment deposit proof and personal travel details to Friendly Tour Guide company, he/she will receive a confirmation of his/her booking with the paid bill with contract via e-mail.
Please note that all bookings require a Non-refundable Down Payment of 20% of the total package price to confirm your booking. Full payment can be made at your arrival at Friendly Tour Guide Madagascar head office directly., or you can pay 80% – 10 days before your arrival date by wire transfer. The payment date shall be considered the day on which the sum will be credited to the Tour Operator’s account.
We work together with our customers to help them to arrange their trip, with the goal of keeping them safe, comfortable, and have a well-organized trip. The amount that we charged from our clients will allow us to prepare their trip (Tour) in advance. And it also such as an assurance for us, as the hotel will not refund back in case of no show or cancelation a few days before the arrival date.
Cancellation insurance is strongly advised.
Please, note that domestic plane tickets are non-refundable and train tickets have a cancellation penalty that will not be credited back to you. We advise our clients to subscribe to travel insurance at home at the same time they purchase their international flight tickets. We cannot be held responsible for problems due to events that are not under our control (weather, political demonstrations, broken road, Diseases, etc.)
Cancellation Policy :
If you or any member of your party wishes to cancel your holiday, you must notify us in writing, in any case, the date of cancellation will be at the date on which notice is received in the Tours Department of Friendly Tour Guide Madagascar Company. The person who signed the booking form must also sign the letter of cancellation. As this incurs administrative cost and retention charges by the hotel, the cancellation charges will apply on the following cancellation rates to the tour fare:
Time of Cancellation & Cancellation rate. Counting back from the day before the starting date of the tour date: a) 59 days prior to the starting date of the tour: 80% of the tour fare b) 40-30 days prior to the starting date of the tour: 50% of the tour fare c) 15-7 days prior to the starting date of the tour in case of failure to show without notice: 0% of the tour fare.
We will not share your personal information with anyone without your consent unless required to do so by law or that disclosure is to a tour booking. We keep the personal information we collect to an absolute minimum and only collect it if strictly necessary or with your consent. You are not obliged to provide your personal information, but this may lead us not to be able to provide you with our services. We will not process or store your personal information for any longer than is necessary for the purposes which we collected or processed this information unless a longer storage period is required by any applicable law or regulation.
When you are traveling with us, we may take videos and images of you that may be used in brochures, in our advertising, or on our website. All participants of our tours authorize us to use his/her image (such as a photograph, videotape, film or pictorial representation, or recorded voice). If you do not wish for this to happen, please notify us in writing in advance Contact Us.
Quote Request :
You could decide to use an Email – WhatsApp – Contact Us on our website to request a quote for a tour vacation and travel needs. These quote requests contain your name, email address, phone number. The quote requests will be emailed directly to the Friendly Tour Guide company with a copy to you and us. The copy to us will also be stored in our database.

- We will ask you to provide a screen name (which can be your full name or your first name only) and you will be given the option to provide more info about your Tour Guide experience level and the quality of our services.
- We also ask for your email address so that we can contact you in case there is a problem with your review or if other travelers have a question about your review. All this info will be publicly visible, except for your email.
The Friendly Tour Guide Company will do provide the services described in a detailed day-by-day itinerary or Tour Program according to the terms and conditions of each Tour Agreement. The Tour company will use its best efforts to well manage the visit to ensure a safe trip and put clients’ well-being a priority, mindful of their comfort, and their needs. We will do everything necessary to help and assist you as much as we can to avoid having trouble during the trip.
