This Queen Palace occupies the highest point in the Analamanga region, formerly the highest of Antananarivo’s 12th hills, from here as well you will have a nice viewpoint of the capital for a panorama picture. We will have a look at Praiminister Rainlairiviny Palace which governed the island kingdom in the late 19th century. The building currently serves as a Museum and the estimated 1,466 objects of historical importance to the Kingdom of Madagascar that was rescued from the 1995 fire at the Rova of Antananarivo are housed here.
Step 2: Then we will head down to visit the oldest cathedral of FJKM, the first church created in Antananarivo. After a few minutes of break in church, we will take you out from the center to join the private park called Tsarasaotra. The reserve is an important refuge and breeding ground for 14 threatened endemic bird species including Miller’s duck and Mada little grebe.
Step3: We then continued back to the center to visit the local market and learn the colonization building story, also visit some interesting places such Pirate Museum, Museum Photo, Anosy lake, local wood craft market for souvenirs…! The Tour will finish after lunch somewhere at the restaurant. Will drop you back at your Hotel.
